Can you Make Money Online via Blogging?

Do you think that someone can make Money online via blogging?

Can a person earn enough money via this opportunity to consider it as a permanent/stable/reliable job or business?

You will hear many different views about this topic. One of such views is as follows:

Some people believe that one should not wait his time in trying to make some blog in hope to one day make a living from it. These people have their reasons for this suggestion: according to them, the percentage of success in this business is very low. So why take such a risk instead of concentrating on a more reliable career?

These people are correct to some extent.

Yes: the rate of successful people who are able to make money online [which they can call as making a living online] via blogging is quite low.

Some people just enter this business thinking that it is some kind of a gold mine where making cash is as easy as collecting fruits from a tree. Such people end up wasting their time and they completely fail to earn any money from their blogs after working for several months.

Because of such people, the success rate for this business is very low.

On the other hand, there are some people who are doing a full time office job and they run a blog too. I know one person who is earning more money from his blog compared to what he earns from his office job.

Yes, there are few such lucky people in this world. But this does not means that just anyone can be this much successful.

Here is a simple answer/suggestion for those who wish to try their luck in this business:

First of all: forget about making a living online via blogging and get a real office job or if you have not completed your study, then first get a proper degree. Spare some time each day for learning about blogging.

If you can spare two hours each day then that will be good.

Can you write content with proper grammar?

Can you write interesting/useful/knowledgeable content?

Are you an expert in any field?

Assume that you are an expert in repairing computers than you should start a blog where you will post tips/information about repairing computers.

Just remember one thing: you may successfully make a living online [Only] if you can write excellent/useful/informative content for your site visitors. If you are entering this business with no special Skills: that is: if you cannot write good/useful content for your site’s visitors, then consider some other opportunity.

Some people enter this business thinking that they just need to fill up their blog with Just Any Content. They end up wasting lot of their time for nothing.

No Great Content for your Blog = No Money

Keep doing your office job [or keep studying]: and with that, also search online to learn more about blogging. You can either get a free blog or you can buy one. Then you will also need to have some basic knowledge about SEO [Search Engine optimization]. You will also have to learn a little about the CMS which will be used in your blog.

There is so much to learn: after knowing enough about this business, you may create your blog.

Then comes the most difficult part which is? Adding Excellent Content In Your Blog.

Add useful/excellent stuff in your site on regular bases and see what response you get. See if you are able to attract visitors from search engines.

If your blog starts to get a good amount of traffic from search engines, then the next step will be to choose an option via which you can convert traffic into money.

There are several available options: the most famous ones are joining Affiliate Programs or joining an Ad Serving network which will show Advertisements in your blog.

Assume that your blog starts to earn more money than your office job: even then you should not quite your office job. Earnings from blog can fluctuate and therefore, is an unstable income source. However, if your blog become famous and starts to get lot of organic traffic plus direct/regular visitors plus referral traffic that comes from natural links: maybe then you can say good bye to your office job.

What are the chances of success in this business?

Ok: here is my answer Which Is Only Based On My Personal Opinion:

Less than 5%…..
